Lactoferrin is extracted from milk, it is a purified milk protein. It exists in the body naturally in tears, prostate, blood, bronchial secretions, mucous membranes, urine, bile and others. Its action is based on its affinity to capture iron, a mineral necessary for the growth of microorganisms. This protein is a first non-specific defense barrier to prevent pathogenic microorganisms from acting. Shell: polysaccharide of plant origin (pululan).
